DKs Some Nerf Bats in MoP

Just checked some updated skills on mmo, I know these are not final but most of the abilities got nerfed in MoP, a lot of the core abilities got the damage % nerfed on them.

I wonder what blizzard was thinking on this, did they feel that blood dks are doing to much damage and threat was not a issue?

I see they increased the threat on Blood P so i guess they are going back to that model that DPS does not keep the threat anymore. It might be going back to the model of select this skill and you will never lose threat.

I am ok with this but it was fun seeing big dps numbers as a tank.

They also increase some damage on some dps abilities as well which is nice, so it all comes back to balance again.

Some new abilities as well which look fun, more of a execute ability now for DKS

Soul Reaper: New. Strikes an enemy for 100% weapon damage and afflicts the target with Soul Reaper. After 5 sec, if the target is below 35% health, this effect will deal 46113 to 53590 additional Shadow damage. If the enemy dies before this effect triggers, the Death Knight gains 50% haste for 10 sec. 6 sec cooldown.

But still looking good for MoP

All classes/specs got the damage bonus % reduced..

They are drastically increasing the weapon damage to compensate for it.
I will be so glad when people put 2 and 2 together and realize that the reduced weapon damage on attacks is offset by the increased weapon damage on the weapons.
If you check, most weapons are having their damage near tripled! Golad, the rogue legendary...in the beta its damage is 1500 or something while right now its 750
Yeah... are we getting nerfed to uselessness or what?

Youd think we'd be used to having the nerf bat aimed at us tho since theyve done it since they brought the class in :p

Ive been looking for the changes as I dont HAVE access to the Beta to see it for myself. I was gonna get an annual pass but apparently I cant even though this account was made the febuary after the game launched :p
Ummm...these aren't nerfs at all.

Current version - Experimental Specimen Slicer

Mists version - http://mop.wowhead.com/item=77217

Notice the damage output? It's double the current version. Weapon damage is going through the roof and weapon % based attacks are being adjusted accordingly.
Based on what I've seen so far, Frost IS getting something of a nerf due to changes to RP generation - we're going to HAVE to use Runic Empowerment/Frost Presence to have enough RP to hit consistent frost strikes. Unholy presence is going to be pretty much exclusive to Unholy, as we won't be able to use unholy as frost anymore and still generate enough RP to use any of our abilities more than twice.
2H Frost's RP generation is through the roof at the moment.

Pretty sure they're more focused on having players test the Pandaren stuff, so there are lots of bugs on all the other classes.
unholy got big buffs.

tanks were doing too much damage anyway. I was doing a LFR in full dps gear as tank and i did like 38k to ultraxion.

it will be like the release of cata all over again with unholy being the top dps spec.

Thank God I'm quitting wow and moving over to SWTOR, I already stop play my wow bills.
Blizz just love to listen to kids whine and nerf the wrong class while buffing the wrong class at the same time.
You're freaking out over something in the first week of the Beta?

You do know how much coefficients and tooltips change during the Beta right? Not to mention the abilities themselves.

Or, most importantly, the fact that the Beta isn't the final product?

Translation: The end is nigh!
If the devs lower special attack damage and increase white damage, then it's of no real consequence to anybody with skill, but a buff to anybody that can't seem to use his/her special attacks as often as he/she should. Not huge, but clearly a part of the attempt to take the game back closer to the faceroll that was Wrath of the Lich King.
Faceroll if you played @ 1600 mmr.
